The pilot of F-100 number 037 was my friend James Womack. From his
name you know immediately his nickname was Schultz. This shows him on
top with another airplane from his element on a bombing run, and the
forward air controller approximately half way between them performing
a "tree buster" in Vietnam. It was there that the squadron obtained
its permanent call sign "Taco." It was back in 1956 that we earned
our nickname in the service of the "Enchilada Air Force."
