Landing Zone, 10 x 20.

Patches were cut or blown out of the jungle on hilltops so that
helicopters could land troops and equipment at various places.
Whenever such an area needed more supplies, the big Chinooks would
bring them hung in a net beneath the aircraft. They would be guided
to the exact spot by grenades set off on the ground that emitted
brightly colored smoke. Here a chopper is releasing a net full of
supplies in such a perimeter on a hilltop. The downwash of air blows
the smoke and foliage away from the landing zone.
