Field Study: The Yellowstone. 12 x 15.

The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone in late morning are back-lighted,
with the reflecting light from the canyon lending a slight mauve hue
to the shadowed spray. The view is from Red Rock Point down part way
on the north wall of the canyon. The air was clear, with passing
thundershowers interrupting a crisp spring day. Sept. 1983
