Field Study: Cortina D'Ampezzo. 12 x 18.

We were driving north from Cortina up a switchback road when we came
to a wide shoulder where we could see south down the D'Ampezzo valley.
The larches were bright green with their new spring needles and the
heavy snow was melting away quickly under warm, intermittent spring
rain. Everything sparkled when the sun came out.
