Night Alert, 32 x 40.

This scene is also on the Phu Cat Mountains. The regimental
headquarters has been placed on a ridge, and in the foreground is a
Forward Air Control team with its two-wheeled trailer, pyramidal tent
and jeep placed there by a Chinook helicopter. The jeep was taken
along because we found it a most efficient generator for the many
radios that filled the back seat; we could keep three radio nets up
continuously. In this instance, the team is controlling the dropping
of flares at night from a Moonshine C-47. As the flares shed their
brilliance, the nearby terrain lights up like a stage.
