Field Study: Sunset at Crater Lake, 12 x 16.5

It was the 25th of July, cold, and we were wearing down parkas. The
mosquitos were foiled by the parkas, but made contact through or jeans
nicely enough. The lake was showing transient bands of greenish blue
from the yellow clouds passing overhead. This panel was painted in
the white twilight glow of the evening sky. 1984
