Field Study: October Rain, Goat Island, 12 x 18

When the weather gets dark on a rainy day, some objects seem to
capture light from an unseen source and give it back to our eyes in
the visual wavelengths. Foaming water and some leaves, especially in
autumn, have this florescence. I presume it is from an ambient
ultraviolet light radiated from the sky. 9-1986
