Field Study: From Mather Point. 8 x 12.

This is a small study because it had to be done quickly. The ground
numbed the feet and the snow squalls raced across the canyon
announcing the great winter storm to come. It was 17 degrees in a
moderate wind. The canyon was moving in and out of gray shadows and
sharp sunlight on fresh snow. Every time I see it the whole canyon
seems to wear different clothes.
