Spring Morning at Juan Tabo Park. 68 x 45.

Juan Tabo Park lies at the foot of La Luz Trail high on the west face
of the Sandia Mountains. In the morning as the sun rises above the
crest it paints the precipitous face with light. From this view every
part of the face seems joined together so that the area turns bright
green in the springtime. Where water gathers in the arroyos of the
foothills there are thick stands of Apache Plume and sometimes Cliff
Rose, turning the stark desert mountain into a sparkling garden.
