We are south of Interstate 40 just east of the Continental Divide
where the rocks are dark and the land has a strange grace in contrast
to its raw, recent birth. Under a somber sky a lone updraft in the
growing storm catches the sunlight. Within a minute it will be gone
and another panorama will unfurl.
