The Zuni Buttes. 18 x 24.

This is a view looking north at the Zuni Buttes from the road that
runs from Zuni to St. Johns, Arizona. We are about ten miles east of
the Arizona line, and the sun is setting across a wide expanse of
juniper and pinon, lighting up the western cliffs of these mesas,
which stand isolated northwest of Zuni Pueblo.
