Summer Skies at the Lincoln County Line. 36 x 48.

e are about ten miles east of Corona looking south. It is a bright
summer day in August, with the air so clear the sky retains its blue
all the way to the horizon, and the fair-weather cumulus clouds are
dazzlingly bright. This is about the geographic center of New Mexico,
and when the air is still and clean, I doubt if there is anywhere on
earth that has skies more blue.
