Field Study: Rain on the West Coast of Oahu, 12 x 16

The color of the sea is very sensitive to the color of the sky above.
When the rain comes the blue disappears, and even small spotlights of
watery light through breaks in the overcast fail to bring up the deep
vibrant blue that answers the radiation of the clear blue zenith.
