The great fault of the Sandia Mountain breaks east of Albuquerque,
rising over a mile. The sheared crust of the earth shows a shallow
layer of Pennsylvanian limestone on the crest and a great wall of
Pre-Cambrian granite beneath. To the right on the horizon lies the
