Field Study: Antelope Flats, 12 x 15

This was painted with Conrad Schwiering, Paul Strisik and Jim Wilcox
out on the flats north of Jackson Hole. It was cold in late autumn
with the diamond-bright peaks of the Tetons peeking through rents in a
dull, fast-moving wrack of clouds. That night the wind blew the
leaves off most of the cottonwoods. 9-1984
